Refund policy

Thank you for shopping at Little Gem. We take great pride in the quality of our play mats. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Right of withdrawal

Under EU and Belgian law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.

2. Conditions for returns

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

The product is in its original packaging.
The product is unused, unwashed, and undamaged.
You have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Note: for hygiene and safety reasons, play mats that show signs of use, pet hair, or are returned without original protective packaging may be refused or subject to a reduction in refund value.

3. How to initiate a return

To exercise your right to withdraw, you must notify us of your return via email.

4. Return shipping

Once your return request is confirmed, please send the package to the following address:

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

5. Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

Timing: you will receive the credit within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods (or proof of return).
Deductions: we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the goods are diminished in value due to unnecessary handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product.

6. Damaged or defective items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at [insert email address] with photos of the defect. In the case of a manufacturing fault, we will provide a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs, in accordance with your legal warranty rights.
